David F. Horne, MD is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at New York – Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He is in private practice in dermatology in New York City. Dr. Horne received his undergraduate degree from Davidson College. He pursued medical training at the Medical University of South Carolina. His internship in internal medicine was completed at Brigham and Women’s Hospital / Harvard University in Boston. Dr. Horne received dermatology training at New York – Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Medical College of Cornell University, in New York City. He completed fellowship in dermatologic and laser surgery at SkinCare Physicians in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. He was certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 2006.
Dr. Horne’s practice includes medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. His particular interests are in HIV-related dermatology and in medical and surgical applications of laser and light based devices. He speaks nationally and internationally about his work. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, The American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
